Setup Guide - Sync iPhone via USB

You must install iTunes on your PC. CompanionLink relies on a USB driver that comes with iTunes. After installation, you can choose to remove iTunes from your PC. CompanionLink does not need iTunes after the USB driver is installed.

Configure CompanionLink 7 on your PC Watch Video

  1. Run CompanionLink Setup from your desktop or start menu and click Settings.
  2. Select your contact manager from the Select your PC or web database... drop-down.
  3. Select Apple device from the Select the device you want to sync with... drop-down.
  4. Select Sync via USB from the Select your sync method... drop-down.

  1. Run CompanionLink Setup from your desktop or start menu and click Settings.
  2. Select your contact manager from the Select your PC or web database... drop-down.
  3. Select Apple device from the Select the device you want to sync with... drop-down.
  4. Select Sync via USB from the Select your sync method... drop-down.

Database Configuration Guides CompanionLink works with a variety of CRM, PIM, and contact management software. There are specific configuration options in CompanionLink for each of these databases. Please select the database you wish to sync with for specific configuration instructions:

Configure DejaOffice on your iPhone or iPad Watch Video

  1. Open DejaOffice, then tap Setup Wizard and ensure that you select USB Sync as your sync method.
  2. OPTIONAL: Configure DejaOffice to sync with the native iPhone apps (within Setup Wizard).


How to Sync: Watch Video

  1. Connect the iPhone to your computer with your USB cable.
  2. In CompanionLink on the PC, click settings and make sure the User Name field is populated. (If the device is not present, try unplugging your iPhone and plugging it back in and then tapping "trust" when the "Trust this Computer?" message is displayed)
  3. Tap sync in DejaOffice on your iPhone.
