It does not rely on hallucinations; rather, it uses NLP to humanize or detect AI written content. In short, this tool is beyond basic whether you are using the free or paid version.
Stealth Writer AI Detector Test Baseline
Before moving further, you need to consider that AI detectors don’t give similar results. The results we get from each AI detector vary. This is because all the detectors have certain standards on which they detect the content.
It is possible that the standards set in a certain tool may not be followed by another tool. For this reason, the results vary.
That means “passed 2 out of 3 detectors” is a nearly meaningless statistic on its own. If 1 of those 3 detectors also fails to flag raw, unedited ChatGPT output, then passing them proves nothing about the humanizer. It proves the detector is weak.
So the only honest way to test is to run the original AI text through each detector first, establish a baseline, then run the humanized version through the same detectors and compare. For testing, we have written content using AI.

CopyLeaks is giving this content a 100% AI score. ZeroGPT was giving 93%, but CopyLeaks is showing this content as purely AI written. Now let’s detect it through Stealth Writer’s AI detector:
Stealth Writer is giving a 96% AI score. So, the results are a bit similar. All of the tools are detecting the content as heavily AI. Let’s humanize the content now, and we will detect the humanized version afterwards.
What Steps Do Users Take to Humanize the Content?
When you open the stealth writer humanizer, you see a box where you can paste the whole content and click the “Humanize” button. Easy and simple, right? But it is more than that.
In the free version, you can select 4 different tones of writing. Select the tone that is appropriate for your text.
As you can see in the above image, we selected the “Natural” tone for the content. Next you need to select the number of drafts per humanization and level by clicking on the Advanced options.
The number of drafts gives you a certain number of alternatives for the content while the levels give you a number to help you know to what extent you want the content to read better.
As we select all the options that we need. The next step is to click on the “Humanize” button and start humanizing your content.

Checking the Content Through Popular AI Detectors:
We checked the AI content using 3 AI tools. One of them was Stealth Writer’s AI detector. We are going to use those AI detectors to check the humanized version of AI content.

So we can say that Stealth Writer AI humanizer can humanize the content and pass the AI detectors. Anyone facing issues humanizing content can use it to bypass their drafts.

The pattern is consistent across all three. Every detector flagged the raw draft as almost entirely ai-written. But after Stealth Writer humanized the content, every detector gave us the results that the content passes AI detection. CopyLeaks went the furthest as it moved from a full 100% AI generated to zero.
Worth noting that the baseline matters here. Because the original text scored above 93% on all three tools, none of these detectors can be dismissed as too weak to catch AI writing in the first place. They caught it. They just stopped catching it after humanization.
