Microsoft Outlook

Outlook 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, 2021 and 365

1. Go to the Contacts window.

2. Right-click on the fields at the top of the screen.
3. Click 'View Settings'.
4. Click Group By.

5. At the bottom-left of the screen, select 'All Contact Fields' from the dropdown.
6.At the top-left of the screen, select Created.

7. Click OK.
8. Expand it so that the dates and times can be read.
9. What you are looking for is the same date and same time and then just highlight and delete all dupes.

(Note: This may be also done by changing the View to By Category and adding the column 'Modified'. By changing the view to By Category, you can do this for any area of OL.)

For Calendar, repeat the same steps above for your Outlook Calendar.

Outlook 2007

  1. Go to the Contacts window in Outlook
  2. Right-click on the fields at the top of the screen
  3. Click 'Customize current view.'
  4. Click Group By
  5. At the bottom-left of the screen, select 'All Contact Fields' from the dropdown.
  6. At the top-left of the screen, select Created.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Expand it so that the dates and times can be read.
  9. What you are looking for is the same date and same time and then just highlight and delete all dupes.

(Note: This may be also done by changing the View to By Category and adding the column 'Modified'. By changing the view to By Category, you can do this for any area of OL.)

For Calendar, repeat the same steps above for your Outlook Calendar.

Outlook 2003

  1. Go to the Contacts window.
  2. Click on the 'View' Menu, then 'Arrange By', then 'Current View', then 'By Category'.
  3. Right-click on the fields at the top of the screen.
  4. Click 'Customize Current View...'.
  5. Click Group By.
  6. At the bottom-left of the screen, select 'All Contact Fields' from the dropdown.
  7. At the top-left of the screen, select Created.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Expand it so that the dates and times can be read.
