While there is no DejaOffice PC CRM for Mac you can still run DPC on a Mac using a Windows install on a Virtual Machine.

Install a Virtual Machine

First you will need a Windows Install on your Mac. To do this there are different Virtual Machine Apps for the Mac. The two most popular are Parallels and Boot Camp. Note that only Parallels supports the M1 Processor so Boot Camp will only work on older Macs.

1. Install a Virtual Machine App on your Mac.
  • Click Here for information on Parallels. Parallels is a Paid program but offers more features than Boot Camp and supports the latest M1 Processor.
  • Click Here for information on Boot Camp. Boot Camp is free with the Mac OS, but does not have as many features as Parallels and does not support the latest M1 Processor.

Install Windows

DejaOffice PC CRM only supports Windows 7 and higher, but we do recommend Windows 11 as this is the latest version of Windows available.

  • Note: Installing a VM App does not include a license for Windows. You must buy a license to Windows separately.


Parallels does have a store which sells licenses to Windows, but it will install a trial copy of Windows 11 during the Parallels setup. During the Parallels Install simply click the "Install Windows" option to install an evaluation copy of Windows 11.

Boot Camp requires you provide your own Windows ISO file for install.







Installing DejaOffice PC CRM

Once Windows is installed and running, you can now install DejaOffice PC CRM.

  1. Click Here to find the latest DejaOffice PC CRM to download.
  2. When the download is complete, run the setup and follow the prompts to install.

After installing the DejaOffice PC CRM you be promoted with a Setup Wizard. The following guide will assist you with each screen and offer details on specific Database and Device setting.








Selecting your CRM stlye

DejaOffice PC CRM offers several CRM Styles:

  1. DejaOffice Style - This is the default style, it will set Task Priorities to Low, Medium, High.
  2. Outlook Style - This will set Task Priorities to Low, Medium, High.
  3. Act! Style - This will enable the Follow Up panel allowing you to see the next event associated a contact, and allow for quick creation of Follow Up Tasks, Journal items, and events.
  4. Goldmine Style - This will enable the Follow Up panel allowing you to see the next event associated a contact, and allow for quick creation of Follow Up Tasks, Journal items, and Events.
  5. Palm Desktop Style - This will set Task Priorities to the Palm Desktop 1-5 style.
  6. Franklin Covey Style - This will set Task Priorities to the Franklin Covey A1-Z99 style.



Choosing your Data Source

If you currently have your data in a different database, this option allows you to sync that information directly to DejaOffice PC CRM. Click the Drop down to select your database. If your data is currently in DejaOffice app on the phone, you can leave this set to None and continue to the Device selection menu.

  • Note: As with any program can syncs data, we always recommend making a backup of your original database.


CompanionLink is already installed

DejaOffice PC CRM contains its own sync, if you already have CompanionLink installed and syncing, selecting a Data Source will prompt you to allow DejaOffice PC CRM to take over the sync.

  • Note - If you wish to return to the CompanionLink sync, your original settings will remain untouched.

Disabling DejaDesktop

If you have previously installed our DejaDesktop Program, the DejaOffice PC CRM pinned windows are a replacement for this and should be disabled. Selecting "Turn Off" will remove the DejaDesktop background image and disable it from running at Windows Start up. If do not have DejaDesktop installed, you will not see this window.






Finishing the Wizard

Click the Finish button to complete the Setup Wizard. If you have selected a Data Source or a Device for Sync, you will see a prompt to Sync Now after clicking Finish. If you do not wish to sync after completing the Setup Wizard, select "No" when prompted.
