Occasionally you may experience trouble when attempting to register CompanionLink. This article explains the most common concerns and their resolutions.
Could not locate a valid purchase
When attempting to register CompanionLink you need to enter the email address you provided in the order form. If for some reason we are unable to locate a purchase you may receive the error message below:
Troubleshooting Could Not Locate
1. Ensure you have entered the email address you utilized when you purchased the software.
2. Verify there are no spelling errors in the information you have entered.
3. Attempt to register using only the email address you utilized when purchasing the software.
Email Address Does Not Match Purchase ID
When attempting to register CompanionLink if you have entered both an email address and a purchase ID that do not match you may receive the message below:

1. Attempt to register utilizing only your email address
2. Attempt to register utilizing only your purchase ID
Asking for a Keycode
CompanionLink does have Offline Registration. Receiving this message means CompanionLink is unable to connect to our server to register your software. Please follow the steps below to register CompanionLink using a keycode.
When attempting to register you will receive a message requesting you enter your keycode. Please note the Computer ID listed.
Please select the bottom web address at the bottom on a PC that does have an active internet connection.
Once at the website please enter your purchase information. Please also enter the Computer ID noted on the registration form. Once this information has been entered your keycode will be sent to you via Email.
In the registration form from CompanionLink enter the keycode you received and select Ok.
