How to find the version of your program or handheld

CompanionLink is compatible with most of the latest PC software and handhelds. Review the supported versions of PC and device software list to make sure your software/hardware is compatible with CompanionLink.

CompanionLink

  1. Open CompanionLink using the Setup shortcut.
  2. In the bottom right, your version and build number will be listed here.


DejaOffice for Android

  1. Open DejaOffice,
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Tap About DejaOffice.


DejaOffice for iPhone\iPad

  1. Open DejaOffice,
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Tap About DejaOffice.



Database Versions:


ACT!

  1. Open ACT!.
  2. Find Help in the Act! tool bar and select About ACT!

GoldMine

  1. Open GoldMine
  2. Go to Help and choose About.

Lotus Notes

  1. Open Lotus Notes.
  2. Click on Help then choose About Notes

Outlook

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Select File in the top left
  3. Select Office Account and then About Outlook on the right.

Palm Desktop

  1. Open Palm Desktop
  2. Click on Help then choose About Palm Desktop


Mobile Devices (Checking for OS Version)

Android devices

  1. From the Android homescreen choose Settings
  2. Find About Phone towards the bottom
  3. Select Software Information
  4. Your current Android OS will be listed under "Android Version".

Apple devices (iPad, iPhone, iPod)

  1. From the Apple homescreen choose Settings
  2. Tap General
  3. Tap About
  4. Your current iOS will be listed next to "Version".

BlackBerry devices

  1. Go to Options and About. (If you do not have Options, this may be under Tools or the wrench icon.)
  2. The handheld type is the first line, and the OS version is usually something like 'v4.2.0.42'.


webOS devices

  1. Launch the Navigation Bar from within any app and go to Launcher
  2. Go to the Device Info icon
