DejaOffice PC CRM Convert Contact Notes to Notes Database

In DejaOffice PC CRM build 1793 or higher, there is a new option to Convert Contact Notes to a Notes Database.

• If you select the Act! or Goldmine CRM style for a new install of the PC CRM, this will be default.

• If you have an existing DejaOffice PC CRM build prior to 1793 you can use our new option to Convert the Contact Notes to a Notes Database. This changes the Contact Notes from a Single Note Field, to individual notes based on the Time Date Stamp.

Convert DejaOffice PC CRM Contact Notes to Notes Database

To Convert an existing Database to use a Contact Notes Database:

1. Open DejaOffice PC CRM.
2. Select Settings and select Contact Settings.
3. Find the "Use Contact Notes Database" option and check the Box".
4. Click Ok on the Prompt and Give it a moment to Convert the Notes.

Once the conversion is complete, check your Contact Notes, you will now have individual editable notes vs the original single note field.

• Note: The conversion is based on the Time Date Stamps. If your Contact Notes do not have Time Date Stamp currently separating notes existing notes will be placed into one note file.
