When using Google as your sync method CompanionLink signs into the Google Account using an "OAuth Token". Occasionally these tokens will expire. To get a new OAuth Token use the following steps:

Obtain a New Google OAuth Token

  2. Select Settings on the left (If you are using CompanionLink for Google, skip step 3).
  3. Select Setting on the right under Google.
  4. Click the "Request New OAuth Token" button.

Follow the prompts that appear to sign into your Google Account. If you directly see the "Allow Access" prompt, in the top right be sure you are signed into the correct Google Account for syncing.

  • Note: If the Automatic method fails, you should be prompted to try the manual method.

If you are unable to Automatically obtain a new OAuth Token for Google sync, use the following steps to manually acquire the token (CompanionLink 7 and above only).
