How to Add User Fields in Outlook for Franklin Covey Task Priority

  1. Open Outlook Tasks
  2. Right Click on on the Ribbon bar, then select Customize the Ribbon
  3. Under the "Customize the Ribbon" header, find the "Developer" tab and check it to enable > Press OK
  4. Select the new Developer tab, then select "Design a Form"
  5. From the "Standard Forms Library, select "Task", then click Open
  6. Select the "(P.2)" tab
  7. In the "Field Chooser" box that appears, select "New"
  8. Name the new field "FCPriority" (Leave the Type and Format as "Text")
  9. From the "Field Chooser" box, drag and drop the new "A1" field onto the layout of the form.
  10. Click the "Publish" button, then select "Publish Form As"
  11. Select where you want to save the form, then name it and select "Publish"
  12. Select the new Developer tab, then select "Choose Form", then find and open the form you just made.
  13. Select the "P.2" button on the ribbon
  14. Add your Franklin-Covey priority to this field to sync with DejaOffice.










How to set your custom task form the default task form

  1. Open Outlook Tasks
  2. On the left side, right-click the Task folder you want to use, select Properties
  3. Under the General tab, find "When posting to this folder, use:", select "Forms, then locate and select your new task form.


How to view/use the fields in DejaOffice for iOS and Android

iPhone

  1. Open DejaTasks
  2. Select the DejaTasks drop-down menu at the top
  3. Change "Sort" to "Sort by Priority"
  4. Change "Priority Settings" to use "Alpha (Franklin) Syle

Android

  1. Open DejaTasks
  2. Select the DejaTasks context menu (3 dots) at the top right
  3. Select "Group By" and select "Priority"
  4. Select Settings
  5. Change "Priority Style" to "Alpha (Franklin) Style
