Creating contact filter when synchronizing with Highrise

When synchronizing contacts from Highrise you can create a contact filter that excludes specific Categories/Tags from being synchronized.

In the example below, there are 4 Tags created in High Rise. (North Team, South Team, East Team, West Team) The steps show a setup where only contacts from the North Team will be synchronized. Excluding the other 3 Categories/Tags.

Creating contact filter using Category Manager

1. Select Settings
2. Select Category Manager
3. Highlight Contacts
4. Select Create New Category
5. Enter the name of the HighRise Tag you wish to exclude
6. Press Ok
7. Now highlight the new category you have created
8. Select Exclude Category
9. Repeat the process for every Tag in HighRise you wish to Exclude from the sync
