How To Launch CompanionLink From GoldMine

1. Open GoldMine.
2. Go to the Window menu.
3. Make sure that there is a checkmark next to Task Bar.
4. Right-click the Task Bar (not the tool bar) and choose Add New Item.
5. The Taskbar Group Item Selection window will open.
6. From the dropdown menu labeled Item Type, select External Application.
7. In the Caption box, type CompanionLink.
8. Click the box with three dots in it (...) to the right of the Application box.
9. Browse to your companionlink.exe file (typically located in c:\Program Files\CompanionLink) and click on this to highlight it.
10. Click OK.

An icon for CompanionLink Setup should now appear on your task bar. Single-clicking on this should launch CompanionLink Setup.
