The add-in "C:\WINDOWS\System32\Act7Ext.dll" could not be installed or loaded

Symptom:
- Synching with ACT! 2005 and Outlook.
- Error message: The add-in "C:\WINDOWS\System32\Act7Ext.dll" could not be installed or loaded.

Explanation:
This is an ACT! 2005 error. It indicates that the add-on for Outlook, ACT! extensions, could not be loaded.

Fix:
  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Go to the Tools menu.
  3. Choose Options.
  4. Click on the Other tab.
  5. Click on the Advanced Options button.
  6. Click on the Add-In Manager button.
  7. Uncheck the box for ACT! 2005 Extensions.
  8. Click OK, OK and OK.
