Sync Palm Desktop with Palm webOS (USB sync)

How it works
CompanionLink for webOS USB is PC software that works with a Palm webOS app to synchronize data using a USB cable. Palm Desktop contacts sync to the built-in Contacts app on the phone. Palm Desktop calendar, tasks, and memos sync to custom Calendar, Tasks, and Memos apps that are included in our Palm app.
On your PC
Install CompanionLink USB™ on your PC.
On your Palm phone
Install our free CL USB Sync™ app on your phone.
How to sync
The sync is a two-step process. (Read why)
1.
On the Pre, launch CL USB Sync, and tap the “Sync” button. This will gather the data for the USB connection.
2.
When this completes, connect your phone to the PC and tap the “USB Drive” option.
3. On the PC, launch and run CompanionLink to complete the synchronization. Any changed data from the PC may require you run CL USB Sync on the Pre after disconnecting the cable.
NOTE: Make sure the CL USB Sync profile is set as the Default. (See how.) If this is not set to the default profile, contacts/calendar you enter may not synchronize to your PC.
