We recommend synchronizing to Android Contacts, because the contact database is used for the dialer and incoming calls.

You can do this by setting DejaOffice Settings, Sync Settings, Sync Android Contacts.

We do not recommend synchronizing to Android Calendar. Android Calendar cannot display all PC recurring types. This includes weekday recurring events from Outlook, custom recurring events from Lotus Notes, and any annual recurring like birthdays that predate 1975. As, synchronizing to the Android Calendar will not show all events, it can damage the events that it is not showing, and when they sync back to the PC the data on the PC will change.

You are able to enable and disable the Android Calendar sync in DejaOffice Settings, Sync Settings; the relevant option is "synchronize with Android calendar app".

Also, please note that you are able to add shortcuts for any DejaOffice mini-app to the Android homescreen. To add a DejaCalendar shortcut, go to Android Desktop, Long-Press, select Shortcut, DejaOffice, then the shortcut you wish to add. A widget for DejaToday may be added in a similar manner, selecting widget instead of shortcut.
