Outlook.com launched in August 2012. It synchronizes with the Outlook 2013 client, but not older versions of Outlook. You will need third-party software to do this.
CompanionLink will synchronize Outlook 2010, 2007, 2003, and 2000 contacts, calendar, and tasks to Outlook.com.
1. Download CompanionLink for Outlook.
2. Select "No device - sync with Outlook.com / Windows Live" in the first dropdown box.
3. Select "Microsoft Outlook" in the second dropdown box.
4. Click the Sync button.
