Palm Desktop only shows Media and Install
If you open Palm Desktop and you only see a Media and Install option, you will need to set Palm Desktop in the Administrator mode.
- 1. On the desktop of the PC, find and right click on the icon for Palm Desktop.
- 2. Select Properties.
- 3. At the top of this menu find the Compatibility tab.
- 4. Put a check in the option "Run As Administrator". Click Apply and Ok.
Note: If you set Palm Desktop to Run as Administrator, you will also need to set CompanionLink to the same setting. Use the above steps, but select the CompanionLink icon instead of the Palm Desktop icon.
