If Outlook closes when CompanionLink attempts a synchronization (either through auto-sync or manual sync), please make sure that Outlook is running 'as an administrator.'
For Windows 7 and earlier:
- Exit both CompanionLink and Outlook.
- Locate the Outlook icon. Right click on it.
- Select 'Properties.'
- Make sure that 'Run as administrator' is checked.
For Windows 8:
- Exit both CompanionLink and Outlook.
- Locate the Outlook icon. Right click on it.
- Select the 'Compatibility' tab.
- Make sure that 'Run this program as an administrator' is checked.
If Outlook continues to close when CompanionLink attempts a synchronization, please try rebooting your PC.
