Multiple Profiles versus Category Manager

Profiles are used to sync with multiple devices.

The Category Manager is used to sync multiple databases or folders to a device.

When to use Profiles:

• Sync a single database with two or more devices.
• Separate databases and devices. For example, one profile to sync Outlook with Android, and a second profile to sync ACT! with iPhone.

When to use Category Manager:

• Sync two or more Outlook folders with a device.
• Sync two or more databases with a device.
• Exclude a specific device category from syncing with your database.
