- Log into Windows as an administrator.
- Connect your Android device to your PC.
- Download this file to your computer: DejaConnectADB.exe
- Once saved, double-click on the exe file to run the installer.
- Once the ADB drivers have been installed, open Windows Device Manager:
- Right-click your Computer icon (or My Computer) and choose Manage.
- In the Computer Management window, click Device Manager in the left window pane.
- Locate your Android device in the list. It should display with a yellow warning, indicating that its driver is not installed:

- Update the driver for your device:
- Right-click your device and choose Properties.
- Go to the Driver tab.
- Click Update Driver...
- Select Browse my computer for driver software
- Select Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer
- Click Have Disk...
- Click Browse...
- Browse to the universal_adb_driver folder that you extracted in step 4.
- Select the android_winusb.inf file and click Open.
- Click Next, then follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
- Disconnect and reconnect your Android device. Windows should automatically detect and load the driver.
