How to fix MSI 1721 There is a problem with your installer

Occasionally, a problem can occur with the Microsoft Windows installer resulting in a 1721 Error when attempting to install CompanionLink.

Step #2

Use the steps below to resolve the issue:

  1. In the Windows search bar, type "Run" and select the Run app
  2. Type "MSIEXEC /UNREGISTER" > click OK.
  3. Open the Run app again, type "MSIEXEC /REGSERVER", > click OK.
  4. Install CompanionLink again
