How to archive old events

Outlook 2003/2007:
- In Outlook, go to the File menu and click Archive.
- Click Archive this folder and all subfolders.
- In the folder list, select the Calendar folder that you are syncing with.
- In the Archive items older than list, select the date that you want. To archive everything, select a date in the future.
- Select the file location under "Archive File:".
- Click OK.
Outlook 2010:
- In Outlook, click File -> Info.
- In the Mailbox Cleanup section, click Cleanup Tools, then click Archive.
- Click Archive this folder and all subfolders.
- In the folder list, select the Calendar folder that you are syncing with.
- In the Archive items older than list, select the date that you want. To archive everything, select a date in the future.
- Select the file location under "Archive File:".
- Click OK.
ACT! 2005 - 2011:
- Back up the database.
- From the Tools menu, point to Database Maintenance. Click Remove Old Data.
- Select the data and set the age of the data to be removed based on today's date. Click OK.
- Read the caution message; to proceed with data removal, click Yes. To cancel, click Cancel.
- At the completion message, click Yes to re-index; otherwise, click No.
- If you selected to re-index the database, at the prompt, click OK.
