This app can't run on your PC

Trying to install CompanionLink on a Windows RT PC (e.g. Surface with Windows RT) will prompt the following message:

"This app can't run on your PC. To Find apps for this PC, open the Windows Store."

CompanionLink can support syncing Contacts and Calendar from another PC to the Surface RT's People and Calendar apps via Google or Windows Live/Outlook.com.

CompanionLink can still be installed on new and upgraded Windows 8 Pro PCs, which support 3rd-party installs to the Windows desktop, including Outlook 2013.

CompanionLink cannot install directly onto a Windows RT PC. Windows RT is ARM-powered version of Windows 8 which has the desktop interface but does not support any 3rd-party applications, like CompanionLink, to be installed to the desktop.
