Batch Updating Records for DPC Record Owners

Selecting a Group of Record in Order:

  1. Open DejaOffice PC CRM and select the data type in which you want to update records.
  2. Select the first record you want to change, hold Shift and select the last record you want to change. This will select every contact from the first to the last selected record.
  3. Right click one of the selected record and choose "Set Owners".
  4. Check the box next to each Owner you want to assign to the records and click Ok.

Selecting a Group of Specific Records:

  1. Open DejaOffice PC CRM and select the data type in which you want to update records.
  2. Select the first record you want to change, hold Ctrl and select each record you want to change. This will select and maintain each record selected.
  3. Right click one of the selected record and choose "Set Owners".
  4. Check the box next to each Owner you want to assign to the records and click Ok.

You can repeat these steps for any data type in DejaOffice PC CRM. For Calendar, it might be easier to select multiple records in the List or Grid Views (Select the 3 bars in the top right and change the View to "List" or "Grid".).

Owners Menu

There are three states for the Owners list when Selecting records that are already assigned to DPC Owners.

  1. Blank Box - No owners assigned. The boxes next to every owner will be empty.
  2. Check - All selected records are assigned to one owner. Check will appear in the box next to the owner.
  3. Filled Box - Some selected records are assigned to an owner. Filled box will appear next to the owner.

Selecting multiple records will display the above status for all of the selected records. IE if Bill is an owner on every selected record and Jim is an owner on some of the selected records. The box next to Bill will have a Check and the box next to Jim will be filled.
