DPC 2020 Edit and View Screen Updates for Contacts, Calendar and Tasks

DejaOffice PC CRM Calendar\Task Edit Panels and Contact View Panel have just been updated for ease of use. If you are using DejaOffice PC CRM build 1375 or higher, these new Edit\View Panels will automatically be enabled.

Contact Detail Panel

In the DejaOffice PC CRM Contact List view, when selecting a record, the view panel (if your display is large enough) will automatically split Address Fields, Custom Fields and the Note\Next Action Panel into two separate Columns maximizing the details that are visible. If you shrink the DPC Window, these fields will automatically return to the single column View.

The note field is now always visible and selecting an Address or a Custom field will open the DPC Edit Panel directly to this Tab in the Contact Edit Panel.

  • Note: You can return to the original view panel layout in the DPC Settings > Contact Settings > View Screen Format. Change this back to 2019 Original".

Contact View Panel Settings:

  1. Show History Linked to Contacts - To display History records linked to a selected Contact in the Contact View Panel, open DejaOffice PC CRM, select Settings and Contact Settings. Put a check in the "Show History" option.
  2. Show Upcoming or Past events linked to Contacts - First in the DejaOffice PC CRM Settings, select Contact Settings and enable the "Use Next Action Panel" option.
  • To show Future Events linked to a contact, set the "Events to Show in Next Action Panel" to the desired number of future events to display.
  • To show Past Events linked to a contact, set the "Past Events to Show in Next Action Panel" to the desired number of Past events to display.


Calendar Edit Panel

The Calendar Edit Panel has been rearranged and quick selection options added for easier calendar creation\editing.

  1. Location Field moved for easier location entry.
  2. Show As selection moved to the right of Event Subject. (All Day events now default to "Free")
  3. Private checkbox is now a button.
  4. Complete checkbox is now a button.
  5. Start Date, Duration, Alarm and Recurrence options have "quick select" buttons.


  • Note: You can return to the original edit panel layout in the DPC Settings > Calendar Settings > Edit Screen Format. Change this back to 2019 Original".







Task Edit

The Task Edit Panel has been rearranged and quick selection options added for easier task creation\editing.

  1. Location Field moved for easier location entry.
  2. Status selection moved to the right of Task Subject.
  3. Private checkbox is now a button.
  4. Complete checkbox is now a button.
  5. Percent Complete moved for easier access.
  6. Priority, Due Date, Alarm and Recurrence options have "quick select" buttons.
