I have been using Companion Link to sync with Outlook before the Ice Cream 4.0 update. Post update am unable to sync. Getting error message “using obsolete version of Android, versions earlier than 2.1 are not supported. Do I need to upgrade companion link as well?

I just tried to install this for my HTC Droid Incredible 2 – upgraded to CompanionLink to build 5028, already on the correct DejaOffice. The HTC drivers it told me to install included HTC Sync. Instead of connecting automatically, I have to tell it to restart, and when it does I see an error that says “Found ADB Device but can’t connect.” Is HTC Sync fighting with DejaSync? At the moment I can’t sync at all and will have to go back to ordinary sync.

When you select “DejaConnect USB” as your sync method (make sure you’re running CompanionLink 5026 or higher), you should see an option for auto sync in the Advanced Settings in CompanionLink. Let me know if you still don’t see it.

As for the progress bar – are you referring to the phone or the computer?

I don’t see autosync as an option on my companionlink 5 for outlook.
Also, there isn’t a status and progress bar showing status of the sync which is not very nice.
