How It Works - USB Sync
CompanionLink will sync Lotus Notes with your Windows Mobile device. And we'll do it securely and direct using the USB cable that came with your device. No cloud servers hosting your data. No over-the-air data transmission involved. Your data - direct to your device.

- Categories (for devices that support the category field)

- To do list items sync to the tasks list on the phone

- Notebook (also known as Personal Journal)
- Full note text (CompanionLink does not truncate)

What You Need
- CompanionLink Express or CompanionLink Pro on your PC.
- IBM Lotus Notes.
- ActiveSync (Windows XP) or Windows Mobile Device Center (Windows 7/Vista) installed on your PC.
- A Windows Mobile* device.

Getting Started
- Install CompanionLink on your PC and configure it to sync Windows Mobile direct via USB.
- Configure ActiveSync / Windows Mobile Device Center to use the CompanionLink connector.
- Begin synchronization within ActiveSync / Windows Mobile Device Center.
How It Works - Sync via Google
CompanionLink will sync Lotus Notes contacts, calendar, and tasks* with your Google, Gmail, or Google Apps account. This data will then sync automatically and over-the-air with your Windows Mobile device courtesy of Google's free sync service. With our two-way sync, you have the freedom to edit information on your device, in your Google account, or in Lotus Notes.

Getting Started
- Install CompanionLink on your PC and configure it with your Google username and password.
- Once configured, hit "Synchronize" and your data will sync between Google and your PC.
- Configure your Windows Mobile device to sync with your Google account (full instructions). Once configured, your device will continuously stay in sync with your Google account.

Getting Started
- In the CompanionLink setup, create a new wireless account.
- Open DejaLink on the Windows Mobile device and enter your username and password here.
- On the PC, hit Synchronize. Once the PC has finished synchronizing, data will sync wirelessly to your device through DejaLink.
