Pocket PC/Windows Mobile Specific Tabs
There are two tabs in CompanionLink Setup which only exist for Pocket PC/Windows Mobile handhelds. These tabs are Phone Fields and Field Mapping.
If you are synching with ACT! or GoldMine, you will have one of these tabs. The Phone Fields is the field mapping option for CompanionLink Express, while Field Mapping is the option for CompanionLink Professional.
The Phone Fields tab is identical to the first page of the Field Mapping tab. The first column are the contact fields from the handheld/Outlook. These field names cannot be changed. The second column contains drop-down menus with the fields from your contact manager. You may select any field from the drop-down menu. If, for example, you selected Phone from the drop-down menu to the right of Work, then the data from your phone field in your contact manager would sync to the Work field for each of the contacts in your handheld.
See Table 1 for an example of the Phone Fields screen.

Note: The Other field does NOT exist on the handheld. You may map a contact manager field to it, but you will NOT see this on the handheld. This field is in Outlook and, if you are synching with Outlook, your contact manager data would appear in Outlook.
In CompanionLink Professional, there will be an additional drop-down menu in the upper righthand corner of the Field Mapping tab. The drop-down menu includes the following choices: Phone Numbers (the current screen), Additional Phone Numbers, Home Address, Other Address, Miscellaneous. Clicking on one of these will bring up a new set of fields to map.
