Known Issues in CompanionLink for Mac 5.3 (654)
- DejaCloud sync is recommended for larger data sets (over 3000 records). Better handling of large data over Wi-Fi/ADB expected within the next few weeks.
- Support for recurring reminders on OS X 10.8 expected within the next few weeks.
Known issues in X 10.8 Mountain Lion
- Known issues with Outlook for Mac 2011 and DejaOffice.
- When syncing via DejaConnect USB, the device will need to be disconnected in between each sync in order for the Mac to recognize the device.
- Changes made to Reminders will not sync to DejaOffice due to the modified time not being updated. That means any changes made to Outlook tasks that sync to Reminders also will not get picked up. We're looking into this further.
Known issues in OS X 10.7 and 10.8
- Known issues with Outlook for Mac 2011 and DejaOffice.
- Recurring event exceptions do not sync from DejaOffice to Mac. This means if you edit an a single instance of an event in DejaOffice that is part of a series, that change will not sync to the Mac. If you make that change on the Mac, it will sync to DejaOffice though.
- Recurring events with no end date will sync to DejaOffice form the Mac with an end date set one year in the future, rather than "No End Date".
- When enabling the sync with Outlook for Mac 2011 and creating new records in Outlook without a category, a new "No Category" calendar and reminders list will get created in iCal. This will then create a new category in DejaOffice called "No Category". We recommend categorizing all Outlook events and tasks with the default iCal categories to prevent this.
- When syncing via DejaConnect USB, the settings gear icon to the right of the drop-down does not function.
- CompanionLink for Mac does not sync automatically using Local Wi-Fi or DejaConnect USB. Users must hit the "Synchronize" button in CompanionLink to initiate sync.
- Contact photos do not currently sync.
- Syncing very large data sets (over 3000 records) may cause the sync to hang or fail.
