How To Turn Off A Conduit

It is possible to keep certain areas from synchronizing. This is commonly done with the Memo Pad/Notes area, but can be done with any conduit.

CompanionLink:
1. Run CompanionLink Setup.
2. Click on Category Manager.
3. Find the name of the conduit (such as Palm Address Book) and click on this line to highlight it.
4. Click on the Application Settings button.
5. Click on the Transfer Method tab. Change the transfer method to 'Do Not Change Or Read Handheld Data'.
6. Click Apply, OK and Finish.

DoubleLook:
1. Right-click the DoubleLook icon in the lower righthand corner of the computer desktop by the time and choose DoubleLook Setup.
2. Click Next and Configure.
3. Click on the Applications tab.
4. Uncheck the conduit that you do not want to transfer (such as Calendar).
5. Click Apply, OK, Next and Finish.

DoubleNotes:
1. Right-click the DoubleNotes icon in the lower righthand corner of the computer desktop by the time and choose DoubleNotes Setup.
2. Click Next and Configure.
3. Click on the Applications tab.
4. Uncheck the conduit that you do not want to transfer (such as Contacts).
5. Click Apply, OK, Next and Finish.
