CompanionLink (ACT! sync)
What CompanionLink does?
CompanionLink will synchronize your ACT! data with your phone or with other supported applications and web-based services (like Microsoft Outlook or Google).
CompanionLink Express has all the basic features you need for two-way synchronization. CompanionLink Pro includes additional options such as Auto Synchronization, the ability to sync wirelessly using CompanionLink's wireless sync service, and other advanced settings.
Wired (USB) sync
If you choose to sync using the wired (USB) method, simply configure CompanionLink and attach your phone to your PC using the USB cable that came with your phone.
When you synchronize using CompanionLink, your ACT! data will sync with your phone.
Wireless sync
You have two options for wireless sync:
1. Wireless sync service by CompanionLink ($9.95/month)
CompanionLink provides a wireless sync service between ACT! and your phone. You can activate the service directly in the CompanionLink Pro software configuration settings.
2. Wireless sync service using Google Sync
Google has released a free over-the-air sync solution for phones called Google Sync. This service works with iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile and Symbian devices. It syncs contacts and calendar in any Google account to your phone. You'll need a Google account. (Don't have one? Visit this page to set one up for free.)
