How It Works - Sync via BlackBerry Desktop (USB)
CompanionLink will sync Lotus Notes with your BlackBerry device. And we'll do it securely and direct using the USB cable that came with your device. No cloud servers hosting your data. No over-the-air data transmission involved. Your data - direct to your device.
CompanionLink relies on the BlackBerry Desktop Software engine to sync data. Simply configure BlackBerry Desktop Software to use CompanionLink as an add-in.

- Categories (for devices that support the category field)

- Notebook (also known as Personal Journal)

What You Need
- CompanionLink Express or CompanionLink Pro on your PC.
- IBM Lotus Notes.
- BlackBerry Desktop installed on your PC.

Getting Started
- Install CompanionLink on your PC and configure it to sync BlackBerry direct via USB.
- Configure BlackBerry Desktop to use CompanionLink as an add-in.
- Begin synchronization by clicking Sync from within Blackberry Desktop.
How It Works - Sync via Google
CompanionLink will sync Lotus Notes contacts, calendar, and tasks* with your Google, Gmail, or Google Apps account. This data will then sync automatically and over-the-air with your BlackBerry device courtesy of Google's free sync service. With our two-way sync, you have the freedom to edit information on your device, in your Google account, or in Lotus Notes.
*Google currently does not sync Google Tasks to BlackBerry devices. More info

What You Need

Getting Started
- Install CompanionLink on your PC and configure it with your Google username and password.
- Once configured, hit "Synchronize" and your data will sync between Google and your PC.
- Configure the Google Sync app on your BlackBerry with your Google account information. Once configured, your BlackBerry device will continuously stay in sync with your Google account.

We use AES-256 bit encryption. CompanionLink does not host your data online; we simply sync information between Lotus Notes and your device.
CompanionLink installs on your PC and works together with a free app for your BlackBerry called DejaLink to complete the sync process.

Getting Started
- In the CompanionLink setup, create a new wireless account and enter your payment information.
- Open DejaLink on the BlackBerry device and enter your username and password here. DejaLink can be configured to sync automatically in the background for true hands-free sync.
- On the PC, hit Synchronize. Once the PC has finished synchronizing, data will sync wirelessly to your BlackBerry through DejaLink.
