Notice 4/15/2011: New CompanionLink beta available to address the BlackBerry Desktop Software updateBlackBerry Desktop Software was recently updated to version 6.0.2.4x. If you have this version of BlackBerry Desktop you must use CompanionLink build 4038 or later (CompanionLink 4.0) or CompanionLink build 3112 or later (CompanionLink 3.0) to synchronize via USB. You can download them using the links below. This page will frequently be updated with the latest information pertaining to BlackBerry Desktop 6 - enter your email in the box to the right to be notified of any future updates.
Synchronization Procedures for BlackBerry Desktop Software 6.BlackBerry Desktop Manager 5 users, click here for support and setup information. If you are updating from an earlier installation of CompanionLink, you will need to follow these instructions after installing CompanionLink.
If done properly, you should see an Add-Ins module on the left. CompanionLink will be listed as an Add-In. Make sure you check the box here to enable it. ![]() Now you can begin synchronization from within the BlackBerry Desktop Software 6. To Sync, select Add-Ins, then click the Sync button in the bottom right corner of the window. Status messages regarding synchronization will be displayed within the BlackBerry Desktop Software, not CompanionLink. ![]()
